I went to Best Buy yesterday and saw the new 3.5 cu ft Frigidaire washer and matching dryer. They look great and are price just over $1100 for the set and the 15"high riser/drawers are $199 each.Electrolux needs to upgrade their site more frequently.Maytag's new Neptune front loaders will be out this spring and look great!!!!both have stainless steel drums and seperate storage drawer/risers that are optional as well as a 1400 rpm or 1200 rpm spin depending on which of two models you choose. The higher end model also has a heater.GE is also introducing a new set of front loaders. The GE rep told me that they are made by GE in one of their plants in China. They should be released in March. Also,GEs HarmonyII sets will be coming out this March THE NEW WASHER MODELS NOW COME WITH A SEE THROUGH WINDOW ON THE LID!!!!!!!!WooHoo!!!!!!

new washers

I am not sure as the display models for our planogram have yet to arive.I was told there are some other changes and improvements on both the washer and dryer of the Harmony line and they have done so well in service and performance according to our consumers. We'll see a soon as they arrive what the changes are.I am hoping the window is not one of those thin plastic sheets like over in Asia.I hope they are a full size like the old Kelvinator or Frigidaire top loaders were.

New 3.5 Frigidaire

We just purchased the Kenmore version of the 3.5 it is great. The door opening is almost as large as the HE3T's and can't tell the .3 difference in drum size. It has been put through it as my wife and I both have had the flu and washed things everyday. The cycle time is at the most 60 minutes and as of yet have had no out of balance problems. Sure beats the Amana TL it replaced. We bought the one on sale for 699.99 sure beats the 1499.00 price of the HE4T's.

new GE tumblers

The GE rep was very direct in telling me that these machines were independantly made by GE and no other source. The factory is located in China. No other brand name was said or discussed as far as generics go or similarities in design or features. He also said the price was going to be very competative and sales will be impressive. They will be on display this May at the KBIS (Kitchen and Bath Industrial Show)which will be going on from May 10th thru May 12th 2005 in Las Vegas Nevada at the Las Vegas Convention Center. You can regester on line @WWW.KBIS.COM and the fee is $25.The'll send you your badge in the mail and you can go on line with Orbitz.com and get a good deal on flight arangements as well as hotel accomodations.I got a round trip including a queen size bed w/kitchenette for 2 nights for $389!!!!!!!!!!The hotel is two blocks from the Center!!

Wow! I'm starting to feel overwhelmed by all these great new machines to choose from. I love the look of the new GE FL's. But I'm also a Frigidaire man, so I'm also interested in the new 3.5 cu.ft. Frigi FL's. Oh, what to do, what to do?

After all, my current Frigi FL is already almost 3 years old. Certainly it needs to be replaced, right?......

Thanks so much for posting the pics, Jetcone!

3.5 Frigidaire FL

We just purchased the Kenmore version of the Frigidaire 3.5 FL. The 3 year old Amana we had died a quick death. We love the way this washer works. The longest wash time is only 70 minutes with all the extra added cycles. Three sons families already had the orginal FL's and was able along with me to talk my wife into buying this one. So far it has been great and the capacity is wonderful. At our best Buy Saturday saw the Frigidaire already on sale for $674.00 plus tax we paid $699.00.
