I was wondering if anyone has new or rebuilt GE WH38X10002 transmission available or knows anyone who would rebuild a GE WH38X10002 transmission for my wprb9220cww washer ??
I can pull it and ship it.
I really don't want to part with it and get a new one since it fits so well in my space and the matching dryer is fine.
It's a great looking unit as well in my opinion.
Had it since 2003 and it has had 3 or 4 transmissions in the first ten years,, the last one in 2013,, all except the last one under warranty, I did get a price break on the last one.
Right now I hear bearing noise when spinning and when spin stops it just very slowly winds down with no apparent braking and with bearing noise though the noise isn't bad yet.
Agitation sounds normal so far and I note that because some of the earlier failed transmissions growled mightily when agitating AND sounded like fighter jets when spinning.
I'd appreciate any help and guidance.
