Regarding ranges, I liked electric ones mostly because they are a lot more precise in transferring heat from the burner to the cookware.Gas ranges have flames that can waste fuel and not be as precise as the electric ones. A lot of owners/users of the electric ranges have no clue as to how to first turn them on to get hot, then set the level of heat you need. Then, once the food is either boiling or simmering, you can "tune in" on the right level of heat and it will stay there as long as you want without burning or scorching.I've never been able to do that with any gas range. The baking in electric ovens is also more precise because they need nothing other than a vent to let the heat escape.Gas ovens need lots of breathing and have openings every where.Again, causing gas to escape and waste fuel. They look great though and when they were in their prime, the models you have shown are absolutely fabulous!!!
