New Recipe! Chocolate Syrup Pound Cake!

i found this in a Church Cookbook...its a keeper!
1/2 pound margarine
1/2 cup Crisco
3 cups sugar
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
5 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1- 16oz can Hersheys chocolate syrup
Cream margarine , crisco and sugar together, add eggs one at a time, add syrup, beat well, sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk and vanilla, beat well, bake 1 1/2 hours in a greased tube pan at 350

I found the recipe in the Hershey's Cookbook.

Its the same recipe, but has butter instead of margarine

I bought my wife the Hershey's Cookbook years ago at B&N as a "surprise" gift.  She has made this pound cake... and it is wonderful!!!  Our other favorite from this cookbook is the Perfectly Chocolate cake with Perfectly Chocolate icing.  Chocolate manna from heaven!  Jim
