Load Sensing Bypass?

Malcolm,

How do you select the load sensing bypass on your paticular model? I have LG WM2233HW with the water plus option, but I swear it only adds like 2 cups more water. Is there a special backdoor or something?

Thanks,
Andrew

Load-Sensing Bypass

Somehow I missed that option and I read a couple of new LG model owners manuals this weekend. What all does this option do when selected?

Model Number

Model Number is WM2455.

Sorry for the confusion, the Bypass is using the Rinse/Spin option. Fills it up to the top. Very helpful in wetting down heavy blankets and comforters before you actually run the main wash.

That LG sure does use very little water. So if you use water plus, it really doesn't add that much more? Why doesn't choosing the rinse/spin option bypass load sensing? That is a lot of water in that last pic.

My friend ha an LG steam washer and it has a warter plus optiob, it fills about half way or so up the glass looks about 8 gal more than normal wash.
Yes it is helpful to wash comforters or those xtra soiled baby clothes...

LG

My LG doesn't come up on the glass with the water plus option turned on, it does come to about the bottom edge if the load is large enough.

If there is a way to make it bypass load sensing during a regular cycle, I haven't found it.

Hi Peter!
Get this:
I got that set, a matching TOL top loader, and the same model dryer in gas, all for less $$$ than a new LG or Samsung front loader. All are discontinued models, and the store was getting rid of the last ones in the warehouse. Talk about being in the right place at the right time.
