Just thought I would spread the news that my new Speed Queen washer and dryer arrive tomorrow. I don't have enough work pants for a full load of work clothes,so it's first load will most likely be sheets,pillow cases,and maybe towels. Looking forward to it,...come to think about it,...I need to get the clothes that are in the dryer out! LOL!!!

Did they arrive and are you washing up a storm? Although I no longer have my AWN542, I was very excited to watch it work---especially the spin drain. I'm a front-loader guy at heart, but it was fun to have a truly traditional top-loader in the laundry room for awhile. It now lives with a family who is putting it through its paces.
Congratulations on getting a new Speed Queen. I'm very excited for you and hope that you will have years of trouble-free satisfied results. Hope that when laundry day arrives it will never be a chore.
