Another no melt situation here....
...my range is a Kenmore (made by Frigidaire). It has had no problems with any of the plastic melting. My mother has one of the new GE ranges with the retro styling. No, they're not made like the classic GE stuff I grew up with, but I have to admit that the cooktop and the oven both work beautifully in hers, and she's a serious cook. I made Mother's Day dinner for her last year in her kitchen, and I was delighted with it. Prices are good too for what you get.
