Hi Si.
Irrespective of brand (although those with a protective cover are best, to reduce the risk of damage), twin tubs are great as they are easily hidden.
Chuck a cloth over it and you have a handy and easy to move sideboard, although they can be a bit like wonky shopping trolleys in the old steering department.
Add some ornaments and a bunch of flowers and he probably wont even notice. Maybe?
Ok, so I am probably clutching at straws in all honesty, but worth a try nonetheless
Most collectors have indulged in smuggling machines into the house, hoping people don't notice. lol.
Been collecting for the last 3 and a half years, though Rob had a handful of vintage vacs for a year or so before that.
Before you know it, they will be everywhere and then the fun really begins - trying to fathom out where to put them.
Before I knock off for the night and just in case you dont know, below is how to date your new old machine.
You have to know the decade yourself though.
Roll on tomorrow.
Paul
p.s just seen that the squares and lines are a bit faint - think it can be made out though....
