Hi Everyone! I have available NEW (NOT 'new old stock') but brand new, freshly made to factory spec, tub boots for the solid tub Kelvinator X-Centric action machines. They are $100 each, plus shipping. If you want some of these boots, please let me know. My email is: [email protected] Mark

Thats great new Mark! I had one new one that Im currently using, but all the others that I found are used and pretty rough. I will email you for info..........

Yay! Maybe now I can get that Kelvi out of storage and get it working right!

Mark: When are the rubber parts coming for the Philcos? :)

Mark, that is really exciting news...especially if Glenn or I find a Kelvinator in the future! I can't wait to hear more about the Philco parts!! Frigidaire bellows seals & replacement agitator pulsators/rings, Maytag AMP tub boots, early Westinghouse door boots...the possiblities are virtually ENDLESS!!! Did you buy the mold and have someone produce them?

Can't wait to hear more!!

Mark you are the man!
Or as GREG NUNN Stated; 'booty-licious'!
I just love that.
Do tell us how you did it?
Did you find someone to mold this?
Or, did you find an old Jello-Mold that could do it?
Any way, this is fantastic!
Now to find a Kelvinator that needs a boot.....

Said: Awesome work - you 'da man!'

There is only ONE response to this. (LOL)
For this to work one of the two of us has to be!

...now for the rest of the story.....

After checking with bunches of resources, I found a guy here in Roanoke that will make the mold ($2,800) and then produce each (with the factory spec'd materials) boot for $79.99 While this seems expensive, I need 5 boots for my restorations and figured that others that have these great machines would likely need some too, I went ahead and made the splurge. They should be arriving in about two weeks. Now that the mold is made, I can get as many as I want. I figure if I sell them at $100 each, I can break even in about 40 years! (LOL) Mark

Just marvelous Mark!!!

Wow! Now all we need is to find the elusive Kelvinator here in the land of rust and dust!!!

Today Kelvinator....tomorrow Bendix!!

Thanks for your efforts!

Great Work

Mark,

This is great news. I wonder if there is the need for Frigidaire boots. And I agreee with Scott55405 that we need Coffee Master gaskets. What kind of rubber is that? Neoprene?

Martin

YES HE CAN!

Any rubber parts can be made. It's the mold that is expensive. If you want to spend between $2,500 and $3,000 to have the mold made, anything is possible! Mark
