Awesome, thank you! Its always fun to watch and it feel comforting knowing a Speed Queen is in use somewhere. Only killer was the neutral drain, that was painful to watch. (kidding folks, just kidding!) :P I enjoyed that was well :)

How do you like the machine thus far? Is this a 120 volt model? (I ask because I see the model tag, at least from here)

Happy with the machine...

Hi Chet,

Yes, very happy with the machine. I do understand however that neutral drain's can be boring to watch...so all good.

Yes, this is a 120V US machine that was converted by John L and Jason when I attended the convention last August. I bought the 240V parts designed for the Australian market (including the neutral drain) and had them fitted while still in the US. (same for the stainless steel front loader I bought as well)

I still saved a few hundred dollars doing this conversion rather than buying these machines at retail price here in Australia.

Cheers

Leon

Great to hear! :) If you are like me you will fall in love with Speed Queen more and more each day. I have the mechanical version of this machine for daily use and I would not trade it for the world. Except perhaps a new in box 70s Maytag center dial lol, but nothing else there after.

A neutral drain is a bit more calm but its no deal breaker for me.

The 240 volt conversion sounds interesting. I had no idea you could do that, but yahhh, Id imagine its cheaper and certainly worth it.

Let us now how you like it compared to traditional Australian front loads.

I wish you all the best, you have impeccable taste in quality. :)

Speed Queen

Hi Leon.

Loving your video on YouTube. How are you finding the machine.

I have fallen in love with mine, no more waiting for hours to complete a load.
