New Whirlpool Top Loading Washers

I am not as familiar with the new Whirlpool laundry line as
I used to be.i went to Lowes and noticed that in their high end line of washers,the top frame that is above the actual tub, has 4 different openings that look similar to the Westinghouse made Frigidaires with their version of the Jet Circle Spray System.There are 4 different sections on the ring that are inverted and look like they could be spray valves that are incorporated on the ring.Enquiring minds need to know.

A new rinse system

I believe it is similar to the Kenmore Elite's Ultra Rinse, which was introduced about 3 years ago. It is said to better remove suds out of the clothes.

This machine has been discussed in a previous thread. It has a new automatic water level sensing feature, no manual selection is provided. Triple spray fill flume integrated in the tub ring. Six wash temps (Tap Cold, Cold, Cool, Warm Colors, Warm Whites, Hot). Softener option switch which changes the rinse to a deep fill. Currently two Whirlpool models (58ESV and 57ESV), and the latest Kenmore 800.

How does an automatic water-level sensing system work?

from what i read the washer fills with water agitates for 10 minutes on a very low speed to sense the load readjusts if need be then it begins its wash phase, the downside i heard if you open the lid during the first 10 minutes the washer will stop and refill or fill to the max assuming it had a few garments added, and some have said theres slightly longer pauses between drain and spin i read that from a manual i saw online a tech one and from users on the sears website.

Agitate 10 minutes, I think, would be excessive.

Whirlpool's tech advisory says it fills initially to a low level. Then agitate 10 seconds to insure the load is saturated. The electronic control takes a reading from the pressure switch along with data from the flow meter, calculates the required water level, with the remaining fill level done by volume per the flow meter.
