Ok.. So its Januaray 1st and most all of us are vowing to do something this year.. What are your goals for 2007?

Mine?
To gain some form of Financial Stablity and Pay off Medical Debt

Loose Weight (who doesn't want that)

To find another stedy boyfriend or at least a good friend with benifits..

TO complete and Graduate the Effective Teacher Training courses to become a subistute teacher
But the one on top of my list is:

To take a cross country trip in my car... This is something i will do come hell or high water... I want to go to Portland and out to LA.. I want to see america from the seat of my car..
This is something i have dreamed of for years and dam it, its about time..Before i hit my late 20's...

I also wanna go to New York and Conneticut and PA (can't spell the name of the state) and maybe Boston

But i am afraid of not having enough money or (esp. in, New York, not being smart enough not to get killed or what ever)

To be more faithful hitting the gym.

To get my house cleaned out and hire a maid.

To spend more time building my businesses.

To NOT post a new thread on Applianceville every time a thought enters my brain.

My postings

I am sorry if i do bother people by posting wayyyyyyy too much... Its just a struggle for me as i don't have a lot of close friends and quite frankly it's rough on me being alone or with my grand parents as much as i am... I guess thats why i wanna travel soo much...

So please let me know if you feel i post too much and i will calm down

No offense, but....

Chad:

Posting too often is kind of like talking all the time. You don't get a chance to hear what anyone else has to say.

The people on this forum have lots of information and stories to share. Not all of them deserve a response; some were just meant to be read and thought about.

Lighten up just a bit dude and your comments will have more impact.

Just a suggestion....

I need to repaint and freshen up a few rooms.

I need to not be lazy about foods and nibbling on junk instead of real meals.

I need to catch up on technology and not cling stubbornly to old ways of doing things.

I need to spend more time with mom, not chore time or shopping time, but just old-fashioned quality time (I hate that expression).

I need to find a new church home (checking out the United Church of Christ next week...)

I need to start helping people through organizations again, and not take on so much on my own.

I need to get over airplane-phobia and visit my friends (I LOVED having everyone around this Christmas!!)

I need to make amends to a few old friends that I sort of had to cut loose in order to make my relationship work.

I seriously need to straighten my desk, re-org files, etc.

I need to learn not to bring forward elements of the past into my future.

I need to remember the past, live the present, and trust the future.

Chad

before you hit your late 20s? is that OLD? lol, i say goodbye to my 20s this Jan. and why havent you driven cross-country yet? ive taken a couple of drives across several states. if you arent rushed and have $$ to stop off along the way, driving across the US is one of the most fun vacations you can have! ive driven to PA and St Louis and i had a blast.

Tonight i met up with a great guy here (thank you appnut bob for the wonderful site, btw) and we have plans wednesday... Hope for the best!

Thanks for the ideas! Things where never right to before, but now they are... Have gone to Key west and such by me self and to Toranto this past Oct.. But never out west...

New Year resolutions

1) Not to be such a motor mouth,

2) Loose the 21 pounds I gained back after losing 30 pounds in 2004. I LOVE sweets! Mostly chocolate.

3) Try to be a little nicer to my co-workers who are difficult to work with at times.

4) To be a better husband, son, uncle, brother, nephew and friend.

my resolution

My resolution is to get along better with Republicans. George W Bush has so badly polarized Americans and I don't want to contribute to that. I spent New Years Eve at the home of 2 prominent gay republicans here in Orlando. We had some great dialogue and we both learned a great deal about each other.I was surprised to find out that they are very dissapointed with the direction the country is going in.Which makes sense given Bush's dismal approval ratings.
Also, to retromom~ New Year,clean slate.sound good?

I resolve to..

Spend more time playing with Jack

Get my workshop room organized.

Save some money.

Hit the gym harder.

Get back in the organ bench.

Slow down and enjoy life.
