Hi Guys
Found this on ebay last week. it is in fantastic shape, but for one thing.
The drain pump leaks from the shaft seal. does anyone have a good pump for sale as I would like to keep it original. If not I will hook up a modern one. also have a few pics

My family had this same model when I was a kid back in the 60's. If I ever found one this nice out here I'd buy it in a second.

I'll second that!  Looks like the 1955 model - can you please post the model number?  

 

I've got the '56 version but it has a cerise coloured dial and panel.

Yep!  It's a '55!  Congratulations and if you do wind up replacing the pump,  please let us know which one fits.

Did this machine pop open when it was finished the last rinse to let the dishes air dry since I don't see a "dry" portion indicated on the dial? I see that there is a spring on the lid that would assist that possible function.

I've never seen a MM of this style with that color, it's always been the color like Paul has--real units or in advertisements.  This color was popular in GE's line during 1955 or so.  Absolutely beautiful.  Congratulations!!!

Air dry

Yes the lid pops open at the end. I also have the manual that I was going to scan and send to Robert. It is also in great shape
