Very cool and appropriate!
I'm going to have to make a haj to your country sometime soon, despite the purported high prices for tourists. For some reason, Norway has become the home of some of the coolest, newest record-breaking bridges of the new century. Check out this one, I think it's called the Hardanger Bridge. It's reported as longer than the Golden Gate bridge and if you could put an architectural wonder like this thing in a better, more dramatic local, I'd like to see it.

Erling I am speechless almost. For a 50 year old washer, it's in amazing condition. Sounds very good too for its age. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE VERY VERY CAREFUL WITH THAT FILTER PAN. It's very fragile after all these years. I'd love to hear the story of the history of this washer's owners. We had the 1964 version of this washer with the black bakelite agitator and 15 pound capacity. It was very similar in design in many ways. The VHQ is what repaired all the design flaws and weaknesses of our washer. I prefer the programmed cycles on this one compared to ours. I saw videos 1, 3, and 4 on YouTube, but didn't find #2. Bob
Wow! Very cool washer! Looks very much like the '66 Norge I lost in the Valley Fire here in California (my avatar is all that's left of that machine -- my favorite). Where is the agitator for your machine? Looks like a nice find. Please keep us posted. And thank you for the photos of Norway - I'm only two hours from the Golden Gate Bridge.

Neighbors who lived behind me growing up had either this model or one very close to it. First time I had ever seen the left side oriented cycle dial.

The machine had a 230volt/115 volt 50-60 hrz converter installed this is the same brand as the motor on the machine and as old as the machine it self. Had a tag "Norge service senter converterd"
I dont know mutch about the history it was offert on a sell/ by webpage heer in Norway. It was listed as get it by the 1.5.2016 or it goes to the scrapyard .ther was also a stove but it was to rusted and corroded to keep. Sadly..... So i ordeds shipping and had it 1 week later.
Forgot to take pic when arriving but came on a smaal wooden pakket and cardbox on it seemed like it was the original shipping box .
Took the machine apart and inspected it .it has been used but it dos not show any sign of wear.motor,pump,gearbox,clutch solnoid,timer etc was remarkable clean .
Aven the Grease on the springs was still yellow.
All of the hoses look like New. The agitator and lint filter as well as the bl,dispenser is soft an clean
I think i now why it has not been used. In Norway we only have electric water heater and it cost almost 25 cents pr kw hour ,the heaters are 120-200 l and takes 3-6 hours to heat up when cold .so fore a machine that consumes 50-70 l of hot water the family dossent have a a lot of water left.
The schematic diagram .is talking about 2 versjon of the machine.
1 without back ligthing.no softner dispenser ,and a half moon lint filter .wired 3 times spray rinse in last spin./if softner is used please reconect 1 wire on timer.
2 with back ligthing. Knob ligthing. Round lintfilter/ detergent and softner dispenser

Congratulations! That's an awesome find! I guess more American washers/appliances than we think found their way to Europe. I remember neighbours of us had a GE washer, probably a mid fifties model. And other neighbours had a GE dishwasher from the 60's. Hope your Norge will be washing soon!
