Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Thanks !!!

At least WP is making the agitator model with a see through glass lid. Very stylish machine. As Bob mentioned previously..i would like to see how this machine works with the DAA.

This is the more deluxe model my Lowes didn't have. Mine also had a blue agitator, if I remember. This model has a countdown display as well as one or two mroe spin speed options (the button between the soil level on the left and water temps on the right--of the 3 clustered on the left hand side of the options). Wish this model had a flow-thruough softener dispenser so ya didn't have to return to add softener when using the 2nd rinse option.

WHIRLPOOL CABRIO

Is Whirlpool Cabrio the always agitator? right? There is not have without the agitator of the Cabrio...? (same as Kenmore Oasis)

Does a washplate automatically mean

Or does WP incorporate some of the "HE" features of the previous machines like the calypso, except uses an agitator on one model as the medium for laundry movement and calls it an "HE". This will be interesting to see this machine wash. Hey, it could be the washer we've all been wanting! The stainless steel tub sure is nice.

Cabrio

I was just at Lowe's in suburban St. Louis (Maplewood); they don't have it here, but the salesman said that it was actually a F & P machine w/the Whirlpool name on it.

I'm with you toggle....

24 incher!!!!!!!
Imagine the rollover on that!!!!

and now to wash........ Sorry smuuty bear just woke up!
Apologies to all

Pete

PORCELAIN ???

"Cabrio's" have porcelain tops ??? really ?? if so, that is awesome.

Kitchenaid too.

The Kitchenaid branded top loaders all had porcelain tops as well. I imagine most of the porcelain tops will outlast the machines themselves. ;)

Cabritator

If the agitator is mounted the same as the typicall DD agitator, can't you install a single action agit in it's place? I bet that would make an interesting washer.

If it had the same agitator shaft/mount as a traditional WP, that would be fun! I'd have to try a DD Surgilator in it and see what happens. That's probably not the case, however...Greg and I were talking about the Cabrio a few days ago and he thought that it would have the same agitator shaft as the Fisher & Paykel, especially since it uses the same type of motor. At least the F&P agitator would still be interchangeable...

Kind of looks like a cross between a direct drive Whirlpool and a Fisher & Paykel. I wonder if this machine is a joint effort. I'm guessing it is probably devoid of the usual Whirlpool mechanism.
