You are right; very rare.

Those controls are certainly out of the splatter zone. It should have had the stainless steel panel on the adjacent left wall as well as the back. Looks like a Whirlpooper DW next to it.

DOES the top lift up to clean under the burners? did it come in a larger version like 30 inches wide?

The Broil/Bake selector is in an odd location.

The manual shows there was also a Deluxe version with a different control panel.
