OMG. When trying to remove the lid from our toilet, I accidentally hit it against this board thingy and it fell and broke. I cant find a replacement lid for it. But this toilet was manufactured in 1952, It is from Standard. I URGENTLY NEED A REPLACEMENT LID!!!!!!

Try Second Use or Earthwise In Seattle

Second use is right by the South Transfer Station in South Park. Earthwise is across the street from the downtown Sears on First Avenue and Lander street. If they don't have a replacement lid, nobody will.

Second Use also gets really cool vintage appliances in from time to time.

Good Luck!

Re: Another thought:

Hi! Compwiz128, this is a wild shot, but approx how far do you live from Portland, OR? If you absolutely can't locate a Cover, where Dan {dalangdon} recommended, you might check at a place called Hippo Hardware, in Portland, OR. I've found out about that place sometime ago, when visiting my Brother there. They've got a 3-Story Corner Building that has practically anything and everything for Renovating older Houses.

Good Luck, I hope that at least one of these places will help you. I know it might be of some distances for you to get there, but maybe you can call them and try to explain what your looking for, before going there.

Peace and Happy Toilet Cover Searching, Steve
