No, it isn't a picture of actual washer.

Cannot say for certain but *think* image was lifted from any of the Maytag wringer pictures from this site. God knows have stopped counting how many CL and other advert listings one has seen using images taken from AW.

Don't know why sellers do this; I for one wouldn't go more than a few blocks down one's own street to look at something that may or may not resemble what is being shown in advert pictures.

I did spot this while patrolling craigslist but when I saw that the picture was not of the actual machine I said 'pass'....

Mind you, Phil got a fairly stunning Flair range from a craigslist Montreal seller that showed just print ads for the 40-inch Flair. The ad was up for nearly 2 years and the price went from $1000 to $600 to $200 to 'please come get this out of my garage '...LOL
