Oh Yoo-Hoo! Equator Washer/Dryer Combo in NYC

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

hmmm I have never (that is short for "not ever") seen a washer used in this country that takes cold water fill only.

I am reasonably sure that that doubly applies to a 110v machine.

I had a combo in the 80's and although it wasw slow as molasses, it was better than going out in the snow to the launderama.

yes this equator is Merloni-made. Here they sold same style machine badged as Philco. Condenser combos use a lot of water even while drying

No need to say these washers have nothing to do with vintage Philco Italiana machines (aka bendix in UK)

I really can't figure how combos can match with american laundering habits. Everytime one washes a full load then two separate drying cycles are required. That's too slow even for us €s, used to those endless 2-hours washing cycles ;-)

That looks exactly the same as my former, guess it, Philco washer, it did a fantastic job of cleaning (and lasted 15 years with no repairs untill we decided that it started jumping too much) It is self heating in all the cycles! But it also has a hot fill. If you can you should get it!
