Very interesting.

I know nothing of Whirlpools of this vintage. Does it filter lint at all? Does it have that familiar WP/KM belt drive sound? How does it perform?

Isn't it amazing that one small spring carries so much weight--really something!

The automatic popping of the lid at the sound of the buzzer is intoxicating. (Not sure if this year's model does it, but close cousins do.)

HI Robert, Great new machines. When I was a kid, our neighbors had the exact same set of Westinghouse machines, same color too. I do remember that the tub seal on the door had a little crack in it and it flooded the kitchen floor and into the living room. You have never heard such language in all of your life! lol
