OK So What Should I Get Rid Of?

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I second the idea of getting rid of Bush.....

But seriously folks. Man you have a nice house. The colors and decorations are just awesome. Just whatever you decide to part with make sure it gets a good home, but I'm sure you will.
Can't wait to see the new additions!

Are those mains indicator lights on the lower panels??
Nope, just a logo Mike.

Did they have the manual's?
No but I'll have to go through my owners manual collection, I might have these.

our spacemate dryer dried Very HOT.
Yup all Westinghouse dryers did, that's why we call them "the oven". lol

What is it you got rid of for that new pair?
Nothing yet. Prob the next machine to go to make room for something would be the 1952 Whirlpool. (I have a possible taker for this already).

Soon you'll be adding a real Duomatic to that basement!
I have a real 1959 Duomatic in the basement mister, and it's near the top of my list of things that would go too! ;)

You know once you`ve had an Asko..!!!! theres no lookin back
You are so right Mike, I didn't look back as the trash collectors were loading it into the garbage truck :) ***ducking***

Sweet!

Congratulations, Robert! Those sure look nice in your laundry room with the black and seafoam green floor. And Greg to the rescue with the timer knob...yay! Is there a story behind these? Had they been in use recently?

Oh Robert ... those are BEAUTIFUL!!

Now who in the world would steal a timer dial? Why? Who would have thought they would just pull off so easily.

If this was taken by some "collector", I'd rather not know that person; that is just plain mean.

Who knew, Greg, that the spindle cover from your Victrola would work? :-)

Wonderful!!

That's a pretty set!! Color is nice too although nothing beats pink! ;-)

I think it would be very convenient to have those in the kitchen. Neal would never have to go downstairs in the basement to do laundry when you're away. I think that would be quite a relief, I'm sure it's hard for him to see the difference between a classic machine and one of those modern ones. I'm doing the thinking here for you!! Does this sound convincing?

BTW, this isn't your first space mate dryer IIRC, wasn't there one left in the previous house........??

Mike,

We'd better stay on this side of the pond, the new world is way too slap happy lately! LOL

Hi Louis, no that was a 1980's White-Westinghouse washer.

Louis, He`s gonna get slapped all the way to Boss Hoovers House next week!!!!
YAY!

Cool Westy set!

Congratulations Robert! 1956 must have been a banner year for appliances - wish my GE Combo looked as nice as your lastest find!
You really do have a gift for finding these things - you should start an AWO 'personal shopper' service!
Have fun with it!!

Cool westy set!

Congratulations, Robert! Yet another amazing find!
You have a real talent for finding these things - you should maybe think about starting an AWO shopping service for the rest of us who never seem to turn up such wonderful stuff.
Enjoy the new pair!!

You do know the boots for these were still available a few years ago, you should check before John LeFever snatches them all up and charges a premium....

Got it already in stock :)
