That is a really nice original model 80 washer that was produced most likely from 1925 to 1927. If your a purest and would like to continue on with a mostly original matched engine and washer, this in not your machine. The Model 80 washer in gas form would be a model 82, which had a Maytag 82 engine with a built in kick pedal to the washer to start it. These are incredibly hard to find and highly sought after. If you are just wanting to slap a Maytag engine onto a washer, this also may be a bit of a challenge. This washer has a flat belt and most 92 engines have a V-Belt pulley.
My observations are as followed:
The washer is worth between 50-100 dollars as it sits
A 92 engine will cost you about 150-200 for a complete engine that works.
The parts to adapt the two will cost about 50$ bucks if your able to find them.
Your best bet is to find a Model 90, Model 30, or 32 washer which can be seen on the Maytag collectors club website for reference.
As always, if you need a Maytag wringer washer part pre 1940 i have you covered.
Thanks and good luck!
