This is really cool, Phil. It has to be very old as Westinghouse sold it appliance division to White Corp. in 73/74. Microwaves, had yet to become an overly common household item. So not too many units were probably produced by Westinghouse. A nice find!
PhilR - for a split-second, I thought this was an Amana, but dismissed it. Nice photos of the older m-waves you've found. Thanks...well, I would contact the seller, but today I discovered a leave date won't be fixed til next week or later...but we are going to be in Grand Rapids the third week of August. I'll be looking at CL as we drive up. Thanks Phil.
If anyone is interested in a 1973 Amana R-10, shoot me an email. The original owner is cleaning house and looking to part with it. Includes glass tray, skillet and cookbook. Located in Denton, TX.
Many moons ago I had that same little Frigidaire at a time when most of my friends only had toaster ovens. The wood grain gave it a classy look. I really liked it.
