But how long will it last?? Don't get me wrong I am ecstatic prices have DROPPED as much as they have in the last two months! I am still completely floored by it all!!!

Here in Southern California (the greater L.A. area) gasoline prices are ALWAYS higher then many other parts of the country, but it still amazes me how much they are dropping! Tonight I filled my car (at Costco) for $1.84.9 per gallon!!!!!! (the Chevron near my house is still $2.19.9 for regular.)

So what are the prices like in your area? If we are at $1.85.... any one back east or south seen $1.50 yet??

$1.769
     ->
       $1.699 couple days ago.

The reduction is not enticing me to drive any more than the very little that I have been, nor spend any more on Christmas than I already have.

The more he is shown to be right, the more it hurts

When I read, as I have done over the last years, Peter Schiff and see how he was poo-poohed by faux news and Co., I have hoped he was wrong. Hoped like mad, because he made sense to me.

This video is scary. Seriously, Halloween type scary. I fear he is right.

In Arkansas.....

$1.58 at a local convience store this afternoon. I bet it is $1.55 at Sams club. <p>With the unemployed swelling to about 10 million in the month of October, I do not think it is going to go up any time soon.

Here in NY we pay a lot of tax and emissions crap like California, so 1.99 is the cheapest, so far. They are fast here to raise the price when some event in the middle east or gulf coast happens to raise prices, but when world wide indicators send oil plummeting, they forget where they put the ladder to change the sign.

Diesel . . .

It's down to $2.35 at the cheapest station in my neighborhood, even less than premium gas. I don't know how this station does it, because they're way less than anyone else, but word has gotten around and there are always lots of big pickups and delivery vans at the pump. It's amazing to think that I paid $4.99 there just a few months ago, and that was the cheapest diesel then.

$1.58 for the most part here in Roanoke.
Perhaps the oil producing cartel has the idea that "half a sale is better than none"?

I don't trust it. The oil men are leaving the Whitehouse and along with them their cozy relationships with the Middle Eastern fifedoms.

Still about $2.15 in central NY,(but down from 2.35) but we are taxed for emissions, carbons, hair color, government graft fund, clear air intiative tax, bad hair day tax, tire residue tax, bad breath smog tax, clorfloracarbon summer air conditioner tax,gas station spillage tax , like California.

I believe in going green, I just want to know where all the green is going to in this state of NY?

I payed less that I have in many years

It is just like the old days. At Costco on 138th it was 1.71 a gallon, which is the cheapest that I can find it. We filled my friend's Miata for 16.04, and mine for 22.00(03 Honda Civic) I was totally thrilled for that. To think in June, I filled the same car for 48.00 almost 49.00 and that was also at Costco.Unbelieveable. I am hoping that it stays down at least until I am out of school. I am not going to hold my breath however.
