OMG..... Gas prices are STILL dropping... YAY!!!

Funny thing . . .

This afternoon I was driving around for business and started noticing lots of new cars. I wasn't trying to keep track, but after awhile I realized that I had seen a new Cadillac Escalade, new 5-series BMW, new 7-series BMW, new Mercedes huge SUV (R something? Looks like an M-B Tahoe), new Land Rover LR3, new Pontiac, and a new Miata. All but the Pontiac and Miata are humongous gas guzzlers so all I can say is how easily people forget!

We're down to 73 cents per litre which converting the Cdn money to US money and then into US gallons would be about $2.25 a US gallon. A few months ago we were up at 1.35 a litre. I still get pissed off at how slowly it always comes down, week over week but how fast it goes up, hell it could double overnight again if the wrong person somewhere farts.

Saw $1.58 tonight at a corner station, Costco and Sam's will be a few pennies cheaper yet. Filled up my Element for $28 Monday, tomorrow it will be even less.
