Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Not what I was expecting

Wow, those appear to be in nice shape, and the dryer is gas!

Given the DHS locale, I was thinking they'd be outdoors, rusted, and have sagebrush growing through them.

WOW!

Mom's washer exactly.

She just got it serviced ... took 12 minutes and a $2.75 part. The guy who serviced it is the son of the man who sold it to her in 1983. He told her to never get rid of it -- she'll never find that kind of quality again.

Mine are older as they dont have the square border around the logo. Obviously mine were brand new but older in stock models they wanted to get rid of when I bought them in 1984. Neither have had one red cent spent on them in repairs in 30 years and always worked perfectly, although the washer still should have the motor pulley replaced (my very first post as a member, Thanks everyone for the info), I can live with the little noise.

Bobby, I probably shouldn't poke fun at DHS. I'm sure there are nice homes there and people are happy to own them. I did drive the main drag there years ago and saw a couple of hand-drawn signs that read "please help us fine the person who shot and killed our son" along with a phone number. Scary stuff.

I didnt Think You Were Making Fun!!!!

I was just curious,it seems to be happening all over the country lately.I live in a nice place just a half of a block from Bay of Hampton Roads,Norfolk Naval base is right across from me.When they tore down public housing about 2 months ago,we now have a large influx of people walking our streets, the bad thing about it is the city is giving vouchers for these people to live in good places where our taxes have skyrocketed for what we worked for,36 car breakins last month garages broken, gunshots, people killed close-by.Strange you can take folks out of the Ghetto, but you cant take that out of them. Its scary! Im over it!
