Her youtube comments said the Lowes washer tech said it was not a balance issue; the machine was defective with a broken part and thus the washer was replaced.

A brand new machine that one buys and is defective due to a broken part is often returned by many folks. Living with a brand new machine with fundamental issues is not what most want.

I thought the same thing Brian, and I suggested that if Lowes/Whirlpool took care of the problem maybe she should remove the video, so I guess she did, LOL.

Home Depot, Lowes, Sears etc often take back washers, mowers and too there are no problems; just a mad or confused customer.

The item then is on the floor in the sale area as a take back; refurb; used article often marked down 25 percent or more. it is marked down until it sells.

And here was silly me thinking the woman making the video did not know how to use the machine because she did not move the cycle selector knob to the desired cycle position but just pressed the name of the cycle she wanted.
Heck the light next to 'Spin and Drain' stayed 'on' and even she noted that she did not think the spin speed should be high for 'Delicates'.
I know I am not familiar with the machine she had but it seems obvious that she had either not read the instruction manual, or if she had she had not understood it, or the manual was not specific enough in its instructions.
There may also have been mechanical/electrical faults present which warranted replacement.

Wow this woman takes the cake. It's unbalanced and on the wrong cycle. If there are six people in her house, she isn't going to waste her time washing only a few towels(or I wouldn't). That will destroy a he washer faster than anything(under-loading).

I can go on and on

about this topic. People either stuff the machine, use the wrong cycle, don't bother to sort their clothes, Dump the entire bottle of laundry detergent, bleach and fabric softener into the machine, use quick cycles on typical to extra-heavy soiled cottons and linens, cram everything into 1 load, then blame the machine. I swear, nothing seems to change. Everytime I do laundry, I always make sure my clothes are sorted accordingly, and the machines are on the correct cycle, with the correct loading, and the correct additives in the correct dispensers and the correct temperatures according to color, fabric and soil content.
When will people EVER learn?

Please excuse if I revive this thread,

but it seems that every time new washer models come out, people don't want to take the time to read their owner's manual to learn to use the machine correctly. It seems to me that when it comes to washer users, nothing has changed. They always blame the machine when things don't go their way.
How many times do we have to hammer the point home to use the machines correctly?

YouTube user sharkie626 has warned these people, along with myself and others in the comments section! This woman has the nerve to blame these machines for her stupid errors. This reminds me of the guy who got a brand new lg washer and dryer back in 2007. He complained that water wouldn't come out, and then got a second one. He then proceeded to spin the dial really fast and complained that start and power were the only buttons that worked. How stupid! He should've waited for the machine to sense the load. First of all, he should've moved the dial slowly. They're high-tech machines. I have zero issues with mine.

Why don't they learn how to use their washer and dryer properly? Or are they just too stupid? People with these appliances can get on my nerves blaming the machine for their own errors and ignorance. Geez! I swear, this isn't rocket science! Manuals are there for a reason. They can't be reasoned with. Oh well, that's not my problem. I as a blind user can quickly figure out which buttons, dials and switches do what.
That lady should've used sensor cycle and sorted properly. This woman needs to be schooled! Or maybe she has, but nothing got through to her. Shame, shame, shame!

a comment. First of all, this guy is stupid. First of all, he claims that water wouldn't come out of it on the first one. When the second one arrived via delivery, he spun the dial way too fast. Also, I don't believe that his first one had problems. My mom has the machine in red with no issues. How about get him a GE set, and then he'll see how bad they are.

Just be glad these people don't fly airplanes or pilot ships!TOO MUCH "cockpit errors" shown here-folks----if you get a new machine-read the owners-operators book before you condemn it saying the machine doesn't work.These new ones work much DIFFERENT than your old machines.So READ THE BOOK!!!!!For YOUR safety and that of the device!!!These guys are trying to use the machine like their old one.
