For a change of pace, we made an orange meringue pie instead of a lemon. Like eating a little piece of Florida sunshine!

I love any cream pie,Pineapple is one of my favorites,Donald wont even look at anything with pineapple or cocoanut in it! LOL..Orange is one I never thought of, but anything with orange flavor is good!

Thanks, petek and everyone. This is one of those pies that few people have ever had (I don't know why as it is no more difficult than a lemon meringue pie) - maybe everyone is not an orange fan. But we had four guests over for dinner the night I served this pie and they all loved it. Hope you give it a try.
Petek, I had the Terrace Top for a while, but got around to installing it two days before Thanksgiving!! It was totally untested until it got put in place in the kitchen, so I kept my '61 Westy in the family room until I made sure the TT was in good working order, which it was. Everything worked fine, including the clock, so I was able to move the old stove to storage and start my holiday cooking! I wasn't sure how I would like the split level cooktop at first, but I really do like it.

Orange Meringue Pie
A nice change from lemon meringue, the flavor comes from a generous amount of orange juice and orange zest as well as some segments of fresh orange.
