I will have you know that I am FULL GERMAN too! Born in Augsburg. AND DAMN PROUD OF IT. BITCH! If you think Keven is a problem maker than your should look in the mirror. HI HITLER
"Has been nice to me". "Has been a perfect Gentleman to me". So because of this you turn a blind eye towards everything else she writes? Not to mention the way she treats people on here?
I don't put up with abuse to others just because "you are nice to me".
Bertha needs to get somewhere.....
Please....

Hey Lee I rarely write anything here because it's so dis
Confusing Nazis with Germans is like saying All Americans are Klan. NOT
The long time companion of my life--30 years-- is 100% German, but not a Nazi.
Equating me with pantera suggests you haven't been paying much attention around here. I kiss everyone's ass because I love this place. I went 50 years without washer buddies, and hate to see our once unbelievably welcome house become a house of pain, abuse, and shame.
The people who have called and emaliled me are pretty much terrified of pantera--I swear to God, so I was fully prepared to make him stop his abuse of us by myself.
Your balls are just enormous. Thank you so much for helping me. I was truly prepared to go it alone.
You never know who's going to come to your aid: a happy, healthy, up-beat, always-friendly sweetheart like you. Go figure. Thank you
"Your balls are just enormous"! Are they? I always wondered why I preferred boxers.
Bertha is a cyst that needs to be extracted before she becomes a full blood sucking tumor!
Everyone here knows this type of person. It blows my mind that they don't see the trouble she has caused over the last few months.
The clock is ticking.....
I support you 100% mickeyd! I have seen and experienced the trouble that this type of person can cause in my past.

'Where are all of you when Christians are being savaged.
Let's point out that these neo-nazies were US born and bred. Unlike the very vocal, well-funded and politically active christian right movements, US neo-nazis are a relatively small and insignificant grouping of individuals who generally occupy the ranks of the intellectually and economically disadvantaged (with some exceptions). Currently they are only a nuisance and do not pose a political and social threat. Nonetheless, it is statistically very likely that these (US)neo-nazis come from very conservative religious (christian) backgrounds. Surely I don't need to explain why many homosexual people feel defensive when these vocal, well-funded, well-organized, politically well-connected and very active 'christians' meddle in our homosexual lives.
Referring to panthera/Keven as a fascist/nazi is obviously aimed at his nationality, not only his views. This indicates an embarrassing lack of knowledge regarding the meaning and history of what is fascism/nazism and Germany. Having read a few of his posts, I see no need or justification for such labels. Those who keep harping on about it, go ahead, but realize that you are embarrassing yourselves ( a friendly hint).
Mikeyed and some others here may be interested to know that almost all websites, which actively promote modern 'Nazism' and its symbols, are based in the United States. America is the only first world country where religion is constantly injected into what is supposed to be a secular political system/process.
I don't recall panthera 'initiating' personal attacks against individuals based on their nationalities, political, social or religious views. Though he does offer a different, non-American perspective on many issues that are discussed here and he is well-informed.
BTW, his descriptions regarding 'queens' and so forth, are strong, but not altogether inaccurate. Perhaps that is why some folk may feel a little confronted? As openly homosexual men surely we can be honest about ourselves and this 'gay community' that we are supposedly all part of.
What is the point of having an 'open forum' when participants can't have open and honest discussions, and why would any participants here feel compelled to monitor who posts where and of what frequency to determine their entitlement to contribute? Isn't that just a little 'nazi'? ;0)
Michael- As your friend, I stand with you and I am certain your intentions come from a pure place. I admire you for speaking up.
Lawrence- I can certainly appreciate you feeling the need to defend a friend. While I don't agree with some of your reasoning, it is certainly your right to do so. I hope you continue to post as you do bring so much to the club.
Keven- I am going to give you the courtesy you never gave me when you referred to me and a few others as "self loathing, conservatives", which I am not.
So, I will refrain from further comment.
Let's all try and remember that with the passage of Prop 8 in CA, and the bans on gay marriage in Florida and Arizona, we, as a community, have ALOT of work to do. Why don't we share ideas on how we can make a difference in getting these hateful bans overturned.?
Keven- referred to me and a few others as "self loathin
I vaguely recall the thread this came from and, surely, this statement didn't just pop out of the blue, but was in response to something else? Keven certainly is not the only person here who feels very strongly and expresses himself with vigour.
This all just sounds like a whole bunch of bottled-up and disproportionate resentment over what exactly? Chill folks - haven't you ever heard of 'sticks and stones'? Try the 'water off a ducks back' philosophy, especially when it comes to the views of people who don't pay your bills. Of course this is a non-binding suggestion only, not to be taken as incitement for personal vitriole directed at little moi - I am very sensitive you know.
"Why don't we share ideas on how we can make a difference in getting these hateful bans overturned.?"
Good idea - wasn't that the purpose of this thread?
Wouldn't now be a good time to put a sock in it?
No, not A440, however apt the simile.
Is the game really worth the candle, mickeyd? Do you really want to subject AW.org to this scene following on to every post I make?
Certainly, I have at times hurt people here without meaning to do so. For this I have apologized.
To my consternation, I shall probably make similar mistakes in the future.
Let it go. You have begun attacking other people here for speaking their minds.
mickeyd, it is time to ring the curtain down on this act. Not only are you beginning to conflate this group and vacuumland (where, as many have pointed out, they don't think I post) but you are ascribing to me powers and principalities to which I lay no claim.
As best I can tell, this series of attacks arouse, as usual, following on to my posting on Imperial. Sic semper erat, et sic semper erit. What's up with that?
I do not post as often on Imperial as I should like, the great good fortune of my honey finding several washers, dryers and refrigerators from the 1940's and early 1950's have now given me the opportunity to seek advice and share their restoration both there in and in Deluxe (or, at least, our attempts in that direction.) Must we now reckon with a nasty-o-gram from you and your ilk following on to every thread?
You are not going to force me out of here, you are going to stop attacking others here who either beg you to maintain the peace or defend freedom of speech.
If you continue to post your screed, I shall be forced to draw the matter to Robert's attention. Has it occurred to you, dear, he might well apply Solomon's solution to the problem?
Do you even read your own charges as you ignore the ones mad
You said I would be snapping at your heels when you warned us about an up-coming post in Imperial. I've never spoken to you there. Again, it's all in the threads.
I just love how you want to stop a thread in which your own destructive tactics have been finally used against you to show you the damage and heartache you cause, really changing the face of AWorg; such is the power of hate speech. Can't take a dose of your own medicine? You'll throw any innocent into the fire, but as soon as you're threatened with it you scream foul play. That's rich!
I haven't attacked any "others" here. I'm attacking you.
You have driven away long-standing, well-respected, beloved members who are absolutely demoralized by the intensity of your hatred. WHO HERE VILIFIES THEIR OWN BLOOD FAMILY IN PUBLIC REGULARLY? What kind of a person does that?
You must promise to cease and desist in your vicious vitriol, and I'll let it go.
Robert knows all about this. I asked him for permission to do it. Do you really think he's going to let his friends drop away, one by one, and see his beautiful place become a house of hate.
So DO PLEASE be my guest, and call this matter to Robert's attention. Hurry up! Tick-tock, tick-tock..........
I do not appreciate the use of the term "Christianist" as it appears to be meant in a derogatory vein. How do we feel when gays are referred to in a derogatory vein? How do we feel when other groups are referred to by using bad names?
This is a large group with diverse interests and opinions.
Respect and tolerance is necessary if we are all to get along.
It is time for us to get back to what this group is about:
washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, vacuums, and other appliances.
Terms such as "Christianist", Nazi, Fascist, Communist, etc. are inappropriate and should no longer be used in any posts here.
People's rights to their opinions and beliefs need to be respected and tolerated.
I am also going to post that I am active member in an
Episcopal parish here in Tucson, Az. It is a warm, loving congregation as was my parish in my home town of
New York City.
We have women priests and bishops. We also have Gene Robinson who is the openly gay Bishop of New Hampshire. Sure some people disagree and that is their right, but for the most part, we do not have all this anger and hatred.
As a gay person of faith, I am entitled to my views and challenge anyone who disagrees to my rights. By the same token, I respect those who do not wish to practice any faith.
Again, I reiterate that the use of the derogatory term
"Christianist" must cease on these posts as there are those of us who are offended by it's use. I am sure that many of us gays would be offended by the use of certain terms as would other groups.
Is it possible for us to accept one another in spite of any differences that we may have? I welcome your thoughts.
Big Ole Bertha....your corset is too tight! You ain't th
Bertha just had to say in the post above, like any idiot that loves to hear her own incantations over and over again. And this time inserted her size 16 pump (extra wide) in her big mouth!....
Certainly, I have at times hurt people here without meaning to do so. For this I have apologized.
To my consternation, I shall probably make similar mistakes in the future.
A Big Laugh Out Loud!!! Really?!!! This is so unlike you Bertha!
Ross and other Dear Kind, Human Friends....
Keep in mind we are dealing with a person that has the soul of salt. It is so obvious to everyone here. This is not a new situation for Bertha. It is old hat. Her whole life has been empty due to her vicious, flagrant lifestyle since she could speak. Bertha did not become this monster because of this club or the wonderful members. It took her a long time to develop this devilish craft.
She is good for a laugh however. Don't you think? She loves to think in her narcissistic pea brain that she is getting under our skin. I just find her so entertaining. Don't let her get to you. It will be over soon.
The clock is ticking.....

Did you mainstreamers hear about this one, The footage of her booking in the police station was on the new channels this summer.............-Transgendered murder victim mourned at vigil
By Jody Callahan (Contact), Memphis Commercial Appeal
Sunday, November 16, 2008
About 75 people marched through the Cooper-Young neighborhood on a cold Sunday night in memory of Duanna Johnson.
Johnson, 43, died after being shot in the head at Hollywood and Staten in North Memphis last Sunday.
Johnson, a transgendered person originally known as Dwayne Johnson, became well known after she was beaten in February in the booking area at 201 Poplar after an arrest on a prostitution charge.
Memphis Police officers Bridges McRae and James Swain were fired when Johnson’s attorneys released a video of the beating to local media.
Sunday’s 6 p.m. vigil began at the Memphis Gay and Lesbian Community Center and continued down Cooper to First Congregational Church.
After the marchers reached the church, three speakers addressed the gathering.
“I keep encountering people who ask me... how could you mourn her? My only response to that is, how could you not?” said Amy Livingston, one of the organizers of the march. “In Duanna’s memory, we must pursue justice. ... "We cannot let this go unresolved". I thought the forum might appreciate this sad story from the local paper.
An interesting reflection on why Prop. 8 needs to be overtur
I don't know who wrote this, it was a "dissenting" letter excerpt which Andrew Sullivan included this morning.
Makes sense to me.
Start quote:
The critical point that is put forward in every brief seeking Prop 8's invalidation is that Prop 8 stands for more than gay marriage: it stands for the premise that any minority group can suddenly be targeted by the majority for discrimination. It essentially eviscerates the Equal Protection Clause of the California Constitution. This because a) the Supreme Court has held (in Perez, some 20 years before Loving) that marriage is a fundamental right and b) in the Marriage Cases, that homosexuals are a suspect class. Unless Prop 8 somehow by implication reversed either of those, Prop 8 means that any time we wanted to be mean to some minority group, we could.
So, just to help you think about this a little more clearly: Prop 8 stands for the idea that we could put on the ballot tomorrow the question of whether Catholics could marry. We could also put on the ballot the question of whether someone with HIV could vote or own property. We could put on the ballot the question of whether mexican catholics can be discriminated against in housing or employment.
You just don't get, do you, up in your ivory tower, that the courts are the ultimate backstop for human rights. Remind me, did desegregation come because of a referendum? No, that was Brown v. Board. Oh, and wait. How about interracial marriage? Nope, that was Perez in California and Loving v. Virginia federally. And I will wager a year's salary that in both cases, had the question been put to a vote, it would have come out completely differently. And if it were put to voters today, I have no confidence that they would vote to sustain them.
That's the point of the Equal Protection Clause. (Aside--do you then also disagree with Romer v. Evans and Lawrence v. Texas?) The rights of minorities aren't subject to extinction by the majority's fiat.
End quote.
It certainly does permit us to entertain some interesting possibilities, no? There are very few, if any people, who are not, in some aspect of their lives, engaged in activities or are members of some group which is sufficiently unpopular as to need protection from attack. Of course, in a civil society, one might apply the principle of live and let live.
