Is it bad to leave a tub full of water sitting overnight in a 1-18 (or any washer, for that matter? Having some plumbing problems and don't want to drain it, so stopped the cycle and letting it sit until the plumber comes in the morning. Tub seal doesn't leak to date.

I sometimes will let mine soak clothes all night. Never had an issue. They're designed to hold water. Just not long enough to corrode or rust the tub like weeks or months.

It is fine to do so except if LCB was used, otherwise it will be safe!
Also it will be wise to agitate for 2 minuets/drain/spin and do a rewash for detergent will be stale and have an smell off smell when the load is finished without a water change!

My grandmother would start her wash Sunday evening. And as soon as it was filled for rinse, she shut it off. I think she put stuff on a drying rack more than hanging it out on an early Monday morning. That automatic washer was bad enough for her to get used to, she did NOT want a dryer, no ifs, no ands, no buts.
