59p washing-up liquid beats Fairy in Which? test Fairy liquid beaten for the first time in 20 years

Aldi has topped the latest Which? test of washing-up liquid - beating Fairy into second place for the first time in 20 years.

Aldi and Fairy were equally good at removing fat from dishes in Which? tests, but Aldi's foam bubbles lasted slightly longer in the bowl, which made it the overall winner.

Aldi was able to knock Fairy off its perch by increasing the number of active ingredients in its Magnum Premium Original liquid.

Ive used this as i live right next to an Aldi, so im always in there doing my weekly food shop, and anything that saves money and does a good job i will use, I refuse to give into brand names now, when own brands do just as good a job :)

more bubbles

if the bubbles last longer it means the water gets less greasy, more surfactants suspend more grease in the water, making more dishes to be washed, which is better value for money, if it washes more dishes, meaning you do less washing up.

obviously if you have a dishwasher its different.

If the Aldi's dish liquid here in the US is as good as the one in the UK, I'll have to give it a try.

Has anyone on this site used/tried it?
