I love the wood cabinets, not big on the mint green. Can you photo shop some other colors? White,Red,Brown,Black. I would like to see what enhances the chrome...

My aunt moved into a new home in 64,had her 50 2dr,painted coppertone,it was beautiful, and I dont like coppertone. In the late 20s and thirties kitchen where different colors.I even have a nice 1930 Easy washer with spin dryer and vacuum cup washing in 2tone green, the tub is speckled. The nice thing about paint if you dont like it change it.

Sorry Jim,I just ain't got that kind of time.<: But you are sure welcome to try that yourself and post them here for us.

So Ben, are you really going to tell her about the dress?? And BTW, you really should go get that other fridge. You know how small the freezers are. Yo could have a matched set! I bet they would take $25.00.....

Hey Steve, I am not a tv watcher so I don't know what that is. However here is a link to the history of Bling Bling. <:

Thanks to all of you for your input. As I said, we will see the fridge in white tomorrow. Then we can do a real comparison of the two colours.

I'm with rickr:

I think that you should go with the Mint Green, especially if that is the Color that you actually wanted anyway. After all, it is your house, your kitchen and your Fridge and you have to live with it, where others will be basically visitors of your house and you.

Good Luck Rick, keep us Posted as to which you end using and the ending results.

Peace and a Mint Green Fridge for your great looking Kitchen, Steve

I agree partially with 58limited......

It's YOUR kitchen, do what you want!

Are you a purist? MUST it be ONLY as it was built?

Now for my vote and I know I'm in the minority here (but I prefer that...*wink*) I say go minty green because it (based on your photo) would look great! IMHO

Oh she wants everything PINK!!

Well, here is the fridge in white...

I am so tired from moving these heavy fridges in and out of the kitchen... <:

I agree with Sandy. Seeing both colors in the kitchen, the green tends to get absorbed into the scene and the white doesn't. So for me, the white provides more bling than the green would.

I like the green, but if the walls are green also the hue has to match. Could be lighter or darker , but match, or one might look blue or yellow.
The stove is white isn't it? If so, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd pick white. Unless you want to get another stove to match the fridge and repaint your walls.

Personally, I'm partial to stock original colors, and a fresh coat of white would be outstanding on this fridge.

But I've seen the photos of your other appliances that you've posted in the past and you a have a good eye for picking just the right shade, the green would also be a good choice.

I'm glad I don't have to choose for you.

Bill

Both look nice to me, which visual effect are you going for?

In your first picture, the white really stands out and the eye is drawn immediately to the fridge.

In the second picture, the fridge kind of blends in with the walls, it doesn't stand out as much and the eye wanders over the whole seen.

Love that microwave with the fifties decor, by the way.

Hi David, I noticed that as well. I like the way the green blends in with the walls, rather than the "poppin out at you" look of the white.
