Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

One important question to ask is.... What does your Dad want to eat for his birthday? Seems like birthday boy should get what HE wants.

Truth be told, he doesn't care. In the years I've been cooking for him not once has he had an answer to "What do you want for dinner?" other than "What ever you are making?"

He was happy, took him to Red Lobster yesterday on his actual birthday and he made a big dent in the triple shrimp dinner.

Party Update!

Thanks for the suggestions, due to time constraints I only was able to make Toggle's oven roasted potatoes. Things were hectic the day before and the day of, seemed like what could go wrong did. Weather was cold and damp all week and no conducive to power washing the patios. Finally got to it Friday night and the power washer died. Quick trip to to Home Depot to rent one at 8 PM and got the one patio we would be using done by 9:30. Could have been worse, I was going to the store at 1 AM for the supplies and a storm had come through and knocked out power just around the corner.

Got about 2/3's of what I wanted and needed to get done, people arrived and I had not got the tables set up, but since it's all family I put them to work. Had about 50 people, a big group had a conflict and could not make it but we had a good time anyway. My dad seemed to enjoy it, and that's all that counts.

Here is the cake my cousin made, she is great at cake decorating. All but the top layer went quickly...

Gorgeous Cake

Look delicious. I like the idea of putting it with flowers and placing them in front of a large mirror.
