Terry,

Thank you, and mark July 12th as the tentative date for the summer get-together. Like the last 2 years, it coincides with Brimfield, and we'll plan an excursion there Friday to do some raping and pillaging!

Chuck

Hey Tim,

Glad you like it!!! The china is Salem. The pattern is North Star. I fell in love wth it when we(Chcuk and I) found a box of it at a flea market, this summer, for $20. We have, with Kenmores58's help, been adding on to the set. I have been finding most of it at the Salvation Army, Savers and Goodwill.

Thanks Chuck, I am marking my calendar and hopefully it will work out this time. Your menu sounded delicious. Terry

From the delicious menu, you had a ton of red mmmm-mmmmmm.

Thank you so much. Some day I'll show up with a couple o' buckets o' La Nova's BBQ Wings

Hey All!
Thanks again to our most wonderful and gracious hosts, Rich and Chuck. The company and dinner and dessert were beyond fantastic. What a great bunch of cooks we have, as well. It was great fun, and I can't wait for our next get-together. I feel so lucky to call this wonderful bunch friends.

I'll settle for a couple of quarts of Swiss Chalet's YUMMO sauce for dippin' the chicken!!! I do miss some of the places in Cheektowaga/Buffalo! Johnny's Pizza on Union Ave near Cleveland had the BEST pizza and wings. Subs were excellent too! I lived one street away on Montfort Dr for 18 years and visited a couple of times since when Rich and I drove through (got some S Chalet sause too!). According to Yahoo! Maps, Johnny's is still there!!!

Chuck

You got it !!!

But I thought Swiss Chalet was national--oh well learn somethin' new

The newest Pizza Fav is Mister Pizza, but I'll check out your spot next I'm over that way. Always looking for more perfect pizza. Like mine saucey, (a little sweet), with sausage, sweet red peppers, and onions, a crisp but risen crust. Starting to salivate, better leave now before drooling on the keys.ZZZZZZZAAAAAAPPPPPPPP. And the keyboard's on my lap, and you know what that means--OOOOOOOOO--AHHHHHHHHHH God help us ;'D

When I was growing up, there was only the one on Niagara Falls Blvd. Then, in the mid-'80's, one came to Main St, Downtown. Then there was the one in Nia Falls, Canada.

I located the website, and it appears that they're in 7 Canadian provinces, and 3 locations in the Buffalo area (the only US locations!). Didn't know they went into Depew, but they're at Transit & French, and also in Orchard Park!

I wish they'd come to MA!!!

Chuck

Hi Greg, I would have been right next to you bug-eyed at the

Chuck, the Orchard Park shop is minutes away, been there several times.

Seem like this was the best party you've ever had--such rave reviews and so nice to see everyone so happy especially the ever generous John Coldspot.

Hi Chuck--couldn't resist......

Better to have your thumbs in your ears than up your you know what (tickle tickle) ;'D

Your Buddy,

Mike.

Also did you ever see the poster of the gorilla with his finger so gently placed in his nostril? the Caption reads: You can pick your nose. You can pick your friends. But you can't pick your friend's nose."

Rich and I have both used that line before!! :-)

I especially like the kitten dangling from a limb by its front paws, with the caption, "Hang in there Baby... Friday's comin'!"

Chuck
p.s.- I saw in another thread you were within spitting distance last July??? If you're in the area again, let us know!!!

Thanks for the invite, Chuck, it is most gracious of you and

Feeling a little guilty, because some time ago the Honorable Jon Charles Jetcone did the same thing, and I didn't let hin know I was in Boston. It all happened in a blink. I grabbed a Jet Blue red eye from Buf to Bos--it's just an hour--took a short cab ride to Budget, a Mile away from Logan Airport, Drove to Greg's house in Worcester, which is an hour and a half West of Boston and back on the way home to Buffalo, hung out for about a half hour (Greg had to work), drove six hours, and was home by 4:30 pm.

Next time, I'll plan more carefully and honor the invitations, and not be toolin' around in a giant Budget truck.
