Daz liquid sudslocks every time in my machine. I personally wouldn't touch Fairy Gel, I think it's terrible. I used to support a lady who used it. Did not remove stains and the door boot on her machine was disgusting!
I have never tried M&S detergents, are they any good?
What machine you have Paul? My Bosch is programmed not to suds lock and i think all Bosch's are designed this way. I think Marks and Spencers liquid is as good as Persil and Ariel. I do like Simply detergent if you can ever get it as you are paying for active cleaning agents not useless fillers.
For example if you take a heaped spoonful of powder detergent and put in a glass jar then pour boiling hot water on it, it does not dissolve fully and your left with fillers at the bottom of the glass jar. Try it and see!
Paul regarding Fairy gel how come the gel did not dissolve? I have asked this question on here before but no one seems to have an explanation. How do liquids leave gunge behind when they are 100% soluble and got no fillers in except water?
Ben
I can second that with most P & G products Paul but for some reason the Daz liquid ok. I have a water softner unit so have to be careful on dosage other wise its suds galore! What you use in your soft water?
At the moment I am using Ariel Professional anti bacterial detergent, £16.99 for 100 washes in Poundstretcher. Doesn't seem to be as sudsy as ordinary Ariel and rinses out ok. I also have an 80 wash box of Henkel Persil from Poundstretcher too. That rinses out brilliantly.
Do you have to have a professional account to use Poundstretcher? I am not even sure if there is one nearby. I never thought there was a difference between Ariel Professional and Ariel in the supermarkets. We used to use Ariel Ultra and Futur many years ago and they were excellent cleaning and rinsing. God only knows what they have done to Ariel these days lol It certainly is not an improved version lol
