Philco a/c here in town at Restore

Of all things I'd like but just can't get there's a very nice condition vintagey Philco Noiseless window a/c sitting on the shelf at our local ReStore. It works or they wouldn't sell it, that's the policy. Two dials with about 4 big round buttons in between.. Wished there was someone here nearby who would come and get it

Loved those and would like to figure out how they were so quiet........

I never heard it running so I can't attest to it being noiseless let alone quiet LOL.. It was still there yesterday and what I hadn't noticed is that it is a thru the wall sleeve machine and looked to have the sleeve included. The air outlet grill is on the front top left corner with that little joystick protruberance that moves the vanes iirc

I have a Philco window a/c unit, and it does get used in the summer. Unfortunately, mine must not be the "noiseless" model! As compensation it does have a very powerful blower though.
