More of the backyard

backyards are important to me,,this one is on an oversized lot and the folks did a pretty good job though you can't see the whole yard in this pic, theres more to the right. I love the little log cabin garden shed. Right beside it is what looks like a little log cabin dog house, but that contains the pump for the yards own water well.

I was still pooping in my pampers

Did they make 'Pampers' back then? Weren't they all cloth diapers that were laundered?

The dishwasher appears to be a KitchenAid.

Good Luck in your new abode.

I guess they were cloth back then. I cannot believe that I didn't check out the dw when I looked at the house, twice!! The stove and fridge were not staying until the last offer and hopefully won't be staying too too long after we move in. Why on earth they have the dryer where it is I'm guessing because they wanted space for that huge freezer. The way it sits now you hae to squeeze in that space to stand in front of the washer. At least I'm getting a finished laundry area as I never did get round to finishing the last house..YAY

Now THAT is a house.

When is the wash-in/convention?
Thanks for sharing it looks MAH-VE-LOUS! A pristine show-place, no less.

Enjoy it in good health!

Interesting to see a house with gas that cooks electrically. That is becoming more common here (in my local area), too, but slowly.

Pete, beautiful house and grounds. It looks like a very comfortable place to live. If you live there long enough you could be back to poopin' in your pampers. Was there any explanation as to why the stove is up on appliance rollers? Do they unplug it when it is not in use? Is it almond? When you move in, please send us a picture of the stove's control panel. Are they taking their freezer? Are they taking all of the tools downstairs? If you find that you need heat by the sink, you can get neat toe-space heaters with a hot water coil in them and a thermostatic fan control so that you can have warm feet while playing in the kitchen. I had a 220 volt electric one under my kitchen sink in my townhouse and one under the bafroom vanity.

That back porch or veranda will be a nice place to sit and enjoy the various parts of the day when you are not running out a line of wash on your pulley clothesline. Does the house have a full basement?

Best wishes,
Tom
