Speaking of "attributes"...

"Not to comment on Don's attributes...but I have shorts like that, that I like to wear, and that's just how they fit.."

Met Don at the 2001 get-together, and he sported those same attributes in his jeans...must be a chronic, apparel indifferent, condition...

Wish I couldve been there

Looks like you boys were having a great time right in my back yard.Amazing I have never crossed paths with Jon and he frequents Grays Appliance same as me which has only recently been brought to my attention. Lets get one thing straight though, its not a wash-in without Mark the Laundry God there.

I have been to Grays Appliance in Melrose and the parts guys was nice there....the salesguy is another story...total idiot/ When I was dealing with the fridge debacle we decided to go to Grays and see what they had. Scott's sister raves about them and their service. So we get there and the guy is asking us what we want in a fridge and I told him what we were going thru with Whirlpool and that they just keep sending shelves and that they wont refund out money on the defective fridge.
So I asked about an American built fridge and he had no clue. Then he says to me " well fridges today are made in Mexico by American workers." I gave him a look and said to him him very matter of factly..."Thats the stupidest thing I ever heard."Then I was looking at the gas stoves and he had no clue at all. He said men dont cook and that it should be a womans job. I looked at him and said well I love to cook and I am the cook. Moron. We walked out of there.

That Sales man is a moron!

That man will die hungry if he don't have a little lady to do it for him!
I wonder where he got his raised up training from?
Oh....., that's right!
Beer belly daddy that was trained the same way like his pappa!

salesman

I wonder who that could be I know most everybody there and cant picture them saying that. This is a family business that has been around since 1928.I wasnt aware they had any boneheads working for them unless it was a weekend bonehead.I buy alot of used machines from them(they sometimes have some vintage ones)and they recently told me they knew Jon Charles.

Yes that is an odd experience

Awhile back they experimented with putting some of the repair guys on the sales floor but I have noticed that policy has ended, maybe it was then this happened?

They are nice intelligent people,I've known them 20 years, that is behavior I've never seen from any of them towards a customer.

They are also one of my oldest customers I have done their embroidery for 20 years so I know them on both sides of the transactions.
