Sorry I missed out on that madarine orange cake.

My resolution this year was to learn how to do good bundts. Here's an example of how it's going. I call this a Forrest, with 2 r's you may notice, because that's where I live, and where it was baked, and how we spell it. I used my yellow GE Americana range to bake this, as it was too cold and windy outside to use the Maytag Dutch oven.

Even though the silicone mold itself appears to be of a Christmas design, I think I can serve a forrest cake year 'round.

Anyway - everyone enjoy.

Be careful, someone could poke their eye out with that cake!! LOL
When you first said Forrest I was thinking it a variation on the Black Forest theme and those were cherries, then I reread the title. BF is my personal fave but I've never made one in fact I've seldom made a cake because I'd be the only one eating here in this house. I gifted my Kenwood Chef last Saturday to a good friend of my mom, has kids, loves baking etc. and she brought over a BF cake on Sunday, well I've managed 3/4's of it and can't eat another piece.

So what do you think about the silicone bundt pan? I'm intrigued with the silicone bakeware but so far I haven't ventured there. Not so noisy when you drop them.
