Just curious - does this look freshly painted and is there something missing on the panel below?

It's....

....A Gaffers & Sattler, and if I had to guess, I'd say 1958 or so; that control panel is an obvious riff on '57 Sheer Look Frigidaires.

What's missing is an emblem. Whether or not it's a repaint is anyone's guess without seeing it, but pink is completely credible for this range.

I can't imagine it has been reporcelainized; the seller's offer to consider pretty much any offer isn't consistent with having gone to that kind of expense.
