Yes Bob

you got it, LK=Lady Kenmore was TOL. Those are my favorites, I'm not a bottom feeder like Greg is. He loves his KM=K'mores!! BOL all the way!

Nice Pinkage Gordon! I wonder though they look a shade lighter than Robert's '57 set- but that could just be the photography. We'd have to put them side by side to be sure.

Congrats

Wow, is right ALL the Kenmores are very nice.  I can see how the "Hotpernt" would grow on anyone, no gimmicks, all substance. alr

Pink 1963 LKM pair

They look great Gordon and this goes to show that their still great appliances to be had for less than a kings ransom. Everyone on this site had a chance to buy these and yes the asking price put off a few people, but rather than publicly complaining about the crazy seller you saw an opportunity and went to work and made a deal. In the end only the seller and buyer can determine the price of anything, and you should never blame a seller for trying to ask what you think is too high a price, as he has no way of knowing the worth of something like this.

We all want to win the big lottery.

Bottom feeder?? Well.

Here we are again at those sensible, Midwestern Values. A penny saved... That wealthy east coast 1% throwing money around like it's suds in a front-loader, you probably even have an elevator for your washers, don't you??

LOL - Don't listen to him, Bob, we love our TOL (top-of-the-line) just like everyone else:

(this one will make him jealous, Jon's a closet Maytag lover :-)

Gordon: Congratulations on the pink (PANK) Lady Ks. They look great and are a wonderful addition to your collection. Also CONGRATS on nabbing the Coppertone 72 60 series. I know you have been waiting for quite awhile on that one, as you have been looking for a washer with that console. It is very impressive.

No I did not forget about the 74 set with the Penta Swirl. They are lovely indeed. Last but not least the Hotpoint (Hotpernt). Not your typical collection member, but it is true to type in that it is a one knob, one cycle wonder. This was also the final washer my grandmother had. I hope it is in working (woykin) condition. This definitely has been a banner week for you.

Good luck with all of the new beauties, and if they have any issues, may they be minor ones.

James
