Who made this Caloric washer? It looks like a Zenith from the same period.

The ad kind'a makes you wonder which got the "top billing"--Caloric or Tide?

If you will look closely at the timer dial, you might think back to the dial on the BOL Philco that sometimes appears in the POD. I think that this is a Beam machine like several other early brands. Although the quality was higher, Beam's dispersal of automatic washing machines could be compared to D&M's with dishwashers.

It always seems like the kids are the ones that find the box of Tide in new machines.Liked all of the different kinds of washers available back then!Something for everyone!Not so today.
