Interesting that as early as 1956 GE was claiming a 12-pound capacity for the Filter-Flo washer. I believe in the instructions for the '57 model I remember them saying that it was possible to wash 12 pounds of heavy fabrics. Dang I've gotta get that one back into service, too...
