Did they mean to say "now you see it no<span style="text-decoration: underline;">w</span> you don't"? Colossal ad agency proofreading screwup, or deliberate to see if you're paying attention?
I kind of wondered about this, too, but I think what they were emphasizing was the rapidity with which the sock disappeared. It might be as if the customer were watching the sock and turned to the salesperson who says this and sure enough, they turn their eyes back to the washer and don't see it. I can vouch that the pull down is not that rapid.
Frigidaire being 'cute' with their ad. I agree the pull-down not that fast with typical washload.
I DO wish I had my moms '63 Imperial now as a novelty change of pace to our SQ pair. I think the agitator and cap on that model were efficient and sharp looking.
I initially liked the '64's Jetcone look,but it seems less of an improvement to me now.
Well, you can take this as in promoting how your socks disappear, as in never getting them back, until maybe them someday showing up somewhere in the cabinet, when your washer is getting repaired...
