I have a machine like this one except that instead of having a soak cycle, it has a delicate cycle. Unfortunately, it was made after the changeover to the roller-matic drive system so it also has the space capsule agitator.

No, they changed over mid 1964. It was with great disappointment that I saw the newer agitator when I raised the lid because I remembered these with the last of the Three Rings from my youth.

Any pictures of your machine? I have heard about this but I never saw a Rollermatic with a 1964 cabinet.

It was the BOL model.
The regular (WD-64, WDP-64 and WDR-64) single speed "Deluxe" models had a separate timer knob/dial that year like the 2 speed Custom Deluxe models.
