A Dispensall it is! Although the dryer is not an exact match, the washer is very cool. I love the (basic) Maytags with the metallic consoles.

Americana washer

Went out to see the GE set. It is a Dispensall. Not the best shape but also not the worst. Certainly worth $20 though so I snagged it. More to come...

Pics

Here are a few photos of the GE. Dispensall lid is not intact and mini-basket and filter pan are MIA. The teeth on the timer knob are all worn so I'm guessing that is why it was pulled out of service. Otherwise a clean machine. About to give it a whirl and see what happens. At worst it'll have some good parts to spare.
