Just want to give a second head up for those who collect Vacs.

Its just as the name on the front of it says-A Certified Pile Lifter vacuum cleaner.These are used by carpet cleaning services deep vacuum carpets before cleaning.then after the carpet has been cleaned or shampooed and its dried-the Certified Pile Lifter is used again to raise the carpets nap and remove any remaining dirt and carpet cleaner residue.GREAT FIND--I am looking for one for my vacuum collection.The one shown has a Royal suction motor-its a later unit.Earlier ones had a suction motor made by Certified.

Looked at the link-don't know where Rockland is-but if I were there would be right over to buy and pick that machine up!!The price is a REAL BARGAIN!!!these machines normally cost about $2000 new.they are still made.

There was one of those machines at the former vacuum cleaner Hospital out my way-someone brought it in for service-came close to getting it-the store owner and I waited out the 30 day period-will the customer pick it up?At the last moment he did.DARN-GOT AWAY.this one is too far away to be convenient.Since they are big and bulky-hard to ship.-you would have to have the orig box and packing.And at 80 pounds-may be too heavy to ship by usual shippers would have to go by motor freight-truck.I tried the machine at the Vac Hospital-was sort of fun to use.Very heavy though.-b ut effective.The dirtmeter for it would be fun,too-looks like a dirtmeter used on Filter Queens.
