I don't know if this has been brought up before, but look closely in the top picture of the pink kitchen. Where is the oven?

The wall oven is above the washer dryer combination.If I remember correctly,on an episode of "The pruits of South hampden"starring Phyllis Diller,they had a see through window on both the washer and wall oven that looked alike and Phyllis placed either a roast or chicken in the washer not realising what she'd done and the scene was so funny!

I too remember Phyllis putting the (i remember a turkey) and it tumbling, however i never knew the name of the show. I sure wish some of you internet savvy people would check out you_ tube for clips from this show... off topic but whatever happened to the Phyllis Diller and Bob Hope movies, The one with the bubble bath starlet. Phyllis was also in one something about the traveling saleslady. Laundromat your post brought to mind, i never see any of these on Retro, TCM, AMC or am i just missing them? alr2903

It is above the Combination Washer!

The home I grew up in had two of these ovens, one on top of the other, in Stainless. My mom said these were the best ovens that she ever cooked & baked in.

You mean they had washer/dryer combos way back then? that must have been pretty advanced!
