Matt:

When the time comes, Tuesday is appliance disposal day around here. Of course furniture day is Wednesday when "bulk" is curbed.

Come over on a Monday night and we will find you whatever it is you are looking for!

And since the homes here were built in 1945 to 1955 we can perhaps find some classic gas and/ or electric stoves, too for those interested.

GREAT IDEA!

I'd love to come out on a monday and drive around and go hunting! Maybe even this comming monday evening I'll come out - sorrry i didn't read this thread till now.

I'll email you!

Matt

and by the way..

Austin you never cease to amaze me! I think i'm going to fly you up to NY when I finally find my filter flo and have you work on it with me - I'm so glad too see such enthusiasm from someone your age. If only i had this forum back then I'd probably not have stuffed this interest into the back of my mind in highschool!

you are very lucky and we are lucky to have you!

and again - Happy Early Birthday!

Repair manual for GE

I have discovered a GE TOL which I think in good condition for $100 at a country junk shop. It's clean, looks good and I have the mini baske (white) for it. It has the spiral agitator and the guy says it works. I"m going to get it Saturday so I figure I'm going to have to go over it before I start using it. I have seen some repair manuals on e-bay but how can I be sure I got one for this machine? Pic to come.
Thanks
Joe

I have access to a 1972 filter flow,

should I get it or pass? It is one of my customers machine and she is complaining it does not work well anymore. I have been there and heard it run. Sounds good to me. I have always been Maytag and Kenore, and GE would be a totaly new thing for my brian!.
