That's funny - Purex usually isn't that great of a detergent. If you can't sell the product, sell the packaging!

If IRC, Purex is the second best selling detergent in America. I agree that it is not as powerful as Tide or some others, but it works for me (most of the time). And I really like that it is low-sudsing. The commercial is great, no matter how you feel about the product....

Funny commercial; too bad it's for a crappy detergent! Purex powder *used* to be OK I thought, no problem with the stuff I used 2 years ago, but not this new "Quick Dissolving" formula. It is absolutely GROSS; doesn't live up to the claim (especially in cold water) and leaves a nasty dust in the washer after it's done. Not to mention it likes to clump up into one hard brick--no thanks!

This Tide guy remains unchanged...
